KENNEWICK, Wash. -- New Fever head coach Adam Shackleford is now in the Tri-Cities but he has less than two months to get ready for the 2010 season.

Right now, Shackleford is trying to build a winner like the one he had in Spokane, trying to add to the 13 players the Fever have under contract.

Shackleford went 19 and 1 with the Shock, winning an AF2 Championship.

But, now he is trying to turn around a fever team that went 3-13 last season.

Coach "Shack" says playing in front of the Tri-Cities faithful will not be a problem for him.

"To me, it's not weird," said Shackleford. "For the fans it might be weird at first. We're going to try and win football games and I'm sure that will cure any problems in that area if there are any. But, you know, as a coach you want to be somewhere where you are appreciated and what you are doing is important and I certainly feel like that is the case here."
