YAKIMA--Police respond to another gang shooting in a troubled neighborhood.
A 15-year-old boy was shot once in the elbow around 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the teenage boy was yelling in the front yard of a home on the corner of Fairbanks and Custer Avenues when a car drove up and the people inside began shouting back. Then, someone in the car started shooting, hitting the teen once in the elbow.
Police say the victim is a gang member. His injury is not life-threatening.
Early witnesses gave conflicting descriptions about the suspect vehicle, one describing it as a red Ford Explorer, another believing it to be a white four-door sedan.
No arrests had been made as of 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
