Kennewick, WA- A woman from the Tri-Cities accused of murder remains at Eastern State Hospital. Phien Sisouvahn last appeared in Benton County Superior Court in October, when Judge Robert Swisher put her trial on hold until psychiatrists could examine her. The judge, Sisouvahn's attorney, and the prosecutor agreed Sisouvahn's increasingly erratic behavior in county jail raised doubts over whether she's competent to stand trial. Due to the workload at Eastern Hospital, the defense attorney says psychiatrists won't be able to interview Sisouvahn until later this week. Sisouvahn is accused of murdering a pregnant woman in Columbia Park and cutting the woman's unborn baby from her womb. She has been in county jail since July of 2008.
