PASCO, Wash.--  Jose and Ramon Morales have yet to stand trial in the murder of a Pasco man in December of 2008. Now the family of Alfredo Garcia is speaking about their father's murder for the first time.

December 10th a year ago, everything for the Garcia family changed. On one night their father was brutally murdered in his home, his wife Maria was shot several times and now is confined to a wheelchair.

Maria and Alfredo Garcia came to Pasco in 2001. They moved into a home off east A St. a couple of years ago. The family still lives here in the same house where Alfredo was murdered.

"He always called me ‘mi amor.' My love," says Maria.

The murder of her father and disabling of her mother has left the oldest daughter in charge. Jesica takes care of her family while she studies to be a teacher.

"It has been really hard, stressful at times," says Jesica. "But you know with family support with friends I think everything that is there is to do I can get it done."
