RICHLAND, Wash;-- They have been called some of the finest waterfront homes in the Tri-Cities area. They sit right next to the Columbia Point golf course and overlook the Columbia River, which is why homeowners were surprised when their Mooring Condos in Richland had flooding problems when they were first build about five years ago, and are now under construction again.
The president of The Homeowners Association says a lawsuit against the original builder settled for about 4-million dollars this past year. After the settlement the money went directly to the construction of sealing the condo walls to prevent any issues with incoming water. Residents can expect to see the large white tents that cover the buildings while crews work for the next several months.
