Local Papa John's stores closed without warning

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Imagine going to work and then finding out the business is closed. Well that's what happened to nearly 180 local Papa John employees. In fact, 12 Inland Northwest stores were shut down. Some of those locations include Yakima, Kennewick and Richland all owned by a group called North Country Pizza.

General Manager of the Yakima store, Jeremy Davidson, says he has no idea why the stores were closed. He says he came to work this morning and all he saw was a notice on the door saying business is closed. "There's no contacts available for them. My district manager has stated to me he is no longer associated with North Country Pizza nor does he have any information regarding any of the situations which have occurred," said Davidson. Davidson says it's frustrating because he has no one to talk to, but he does say the notice on the door says all paychecks and W-2's will be mailed out by the end of the month.

As of now there is no say on when or if the stores will re-open.
