YAKIMA--The teenager found with a loaded gun at Davis High School made his first court appearance Wednesday.

Davis High School's School Resource Officer found a loaded handgun in 16-year-old Erik Carrasco's backpack Tuesday.  Carrasco had been involved in an argument with another student.

The gun had been stolen from King County.

Carrasco's bail was set at $50,000.

In an unrelated incident, police also arrested Carrasco's brother Tuesday, Emanuel Carrasco Ramos, for illegally possessing a gun.

Ramos has a long criminal history.  A judge set his bail at $100,000.

Carrasco and Ramos will be charged Friday.  Police say both teens are gang members.
