KENNEWICK, Wash.-- It would be a medical first; no seasonal flu for our area or the whole country.
the Benton Franklin Health District told us today they don't have any adult doses of the seasonal flu vaccine. Now that might not be an issue this year because we could only get the H1N1 flu. But don't forget to wash your hands yet, H1N1 could come back for a third wave next month.
On the plus side, even though locally it is very hard to find the seasonal flu vaccine, H1N1 vaccine doses are widespread at the health district or at pharmacies. Parents are reminded, if you have a child ten or younger, make sure they have two doses of the vaccine, not just one.
