KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Students at Eastgate Elementary did some extra homework to help their school counselor.
Sue Conrad has been in Seattle for a couple months to be with her daughter, Jaime, who has Myelodysplastic syndrome, a blood and bone marrow disorder.
so the school's K-Kids club helped raise over a thousand dollars, double their goal, to help Conrad's with medical costs.
Conrad's daughter got a stem cell transplant in December. They're both still living in Seattle for daily doctor visits and tests.
