PASCO, Wash;-- The new Grape Line buses are up and running. They are designed to make your trip from Pasco to Walla Walla that much easier.
Three brand new buses have started making routes after the Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act raised almost two million dollars in grants for the bus program. Each new bus is equipped with reclining seats, reading lights and extra cargo space which helps for a smoother ride.
Manager of the Grape Line operation says the new buses raise the program's status and help for more efficient travel between Walla Walla and Pasco. The Grape Line has also averages 2008. The new buses can hold about 20 people. They all have bike racks and the latest equipment to make travel easier for people who use wheelchairs.
