PASCO, Wash;-- A family is shaken up today after their taco truck in Pasco was robbed late last night. Pasco police say the suspect is still on the loose.

Police say it happened on the corner of 4th Avenue and Shoshone at about midnight. Officers tell us the suspect pulled out a small handgun, got in to the El Primo taco truck and left with about 80 dollars in cash.

Officers brought out police dogs to try and track him but could not find him. The owner of the El Primo taco truck says his truck was robbed about six years ago, but this time his 16-year-old niece and mother-in-law were the ones working the late night shift. He tells us his niece stepped out of the truck and a masked man pulled out a gun as he grabbed her.

"She heard the noise and she stepped out and that's when he grabbed her," owner of El Primo Jose Navarette said. "He actually went inside the taco truck and demanded money and pointed the gun at my mother-in-law saying he was going to kill them both if they don't get the money."

Jose also says after last night he will work to invest in better lighting and security for his taco truck. Police say the man was wearing all dark clothing and had a blue bandana tied around his face.
