KENNEWICK, Wash.-- As donations continue to pour in for earthquake victims in Haiti, scammers continue trying to capitalize on people's generosity.
The Better Business Bureau warns the latest is an e-mail claming to be from the British Red Cross Society, asking you to wire your donations. The BBB says that's the first red flag. Other red flags include it being a randomly sent, mass e-mail and a few grammar errors.
If you get this e-mail with the subject "Safe Haiti," the BBB says don't respond, send money, or forward it on, just delete it.
