ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The Central Washington Wildcats couldn't be happier about Ike's Joe Fuerst and the rest of their 2010 recruiting class.
Coach Blaine Bennett welcomed fans to the Wing Central's Roadhouse Grill Wednesday night to talk about the 26 players the Cats have coming in.
Bennett says that the class is the best he has seen in his 3 years at Central. And he says he is excited to see what the recruits and Joe Fuerst can do.
"Actually, Joe Fuerst is one of those players that could play running back or linebacker," said Bennett. "We have about six of them that we've signed and Joe is one of them that we're really excited about. He's got great athleticism. He's got great balance. He's got good speed and I think Joe Fuerst is going to play real early for us. It's exciting for us to get another Ike kid. We signed one last year. We've got another one this year and hopefully we can start a little Eisenhower connection, little pipeline."
