Circle of Success joins Catholic Charities of Yakima
YAKIMA, Wash. - The Circle of Success program announced Wednesday it became a part of the Catholic Charities of Yakima at the beginning of this year.
The group celebrated the merger inside the Children's Underground at the Yakima Valley Museum. The move will help Circle of Success gain more funding and be a part of a group of programs geared toward young children.
Tara Cobia is the parent of children currently in the program. She says Circle of Success helps her kids learn more about the many cultures of the world.
"It broadens your perspective," she said. "It gives you opportunities to read other literature, which I think is great."
Circle of Success is now a part of the Catholic Family & Child Service. The goal of this change is help the program become more organized and reach out to more children.
It takes months for kids to get into the program right now but organizers hope to bring the wait down. They say Circle of Success is always in need of donations so that it can send books to more children each month.
To give to the program, you can call Catholic Family & Child Service and request to make a donation specifically for Circle of Success by calling (509)965-7100 or 1-888-973-7323.
