Alleged misconduct at KID; includes drinking and driving
KENNEWICK, Wash.-- A shakeup is underway at the Kennewick Irrigation District.
News has surfaced of alleged misuse of company property by employees.
Now their operations manager, Harry Fox, has resigned. KID says there was pervasive misuse of company tools, cars and other taxpayer equipment, including one person who KID says would drink and drive in a company car.
Today there was a staff meeting to give them all a formal warning.
KID district manager Chuck Freeman also had to meet with police to discuss how to deal with threats made yesterday against the one whistle blower in the company.
