RICHLAND, Wash-- It's the newest McCurley dealership in the Tri-Cities-- a new Honda shop in the old Lithia Ford building.
"We kind of gutted the inside and outside and kept the existing structure and turned it into a brand new Honda store," General Manager Mason McCurly tells us.
And the company has plans to expand. Remember the *old* Honda store on Clearwater? It's now under construction for a new Mercedes lot.
"So we'll have one down in Richland here, we'll have one in Kennewick. And we'll have our flagship stores in Pasco in the autoplex," McCurley adds.
Right now, most of the cars on the Honda lot have been moved to Ranch and Home for a weekend-long sale. It's only about a half-mile from the dealership, but have you ever thought about how they do it? Through lots of help, mostly volunteers from schools and churches.
Workers say the back and forth trips are worth it; they expect to sell around 100 cars in the next four days.
