OLYMPIA, Wash-- Friday is day 33 of a 60 day legislative session and some lawmakers are expressing concern the budget might not get done in time.
We talked to Senator Jerome Delvin who tells us democrats have yet to offer a budget to fix a $2.6 billion deficit. And there's frustration from some of our local lawmakers who tell us they're not being included in the budget talks.
"I think we're going to be stuck here at a special session because they haven't put out a budget yet," Senator Delvin says. "We're over half way and we need to start making these decisions. They haven't let us in and we're frustrated because we haven't seen a budget, so we can at least start offering some precise advice on that."
The legislative session is set to end in less than four weeks on March 11th.
