Meeting tomorrow to continue work on Cooper Larson Field
KENNEWICK, Wash;--Cooper Larson died of a rare form of brain cancer when he was 4 years old. But he was also a huge baseball fan.
So, in his memory a foundation was formed to re-model a field here at American Youth Baseball Complex. But the new lights and speakers involved in that planning has neighbors worried and the project was put on hold.
Now, the Kennewick School District, which owns this property, will host a community meeting to hear new ideas for the field. Ideas that would make neighbors happy and allow the Cooper Larson Foundation to complete their "Field of Dreams."
If you want to attend the meeting, it's tomorrow at 6:30 at the Kennewick School District Administration building.
