WEST RICHLAND, Wash. - The West Richland Golf Course is celebrating a new beginning. This comes after their club house caught on fire in 2008 and now they are about to break grounds on a new one.
The two story club house will be over 9,000 square feet which is slightly larger than the last one. Some of the features include a pro-shop, restaurant, banquet room, bar and paved parking lot. Owner, Michelle Marcum has over a $1.2 million invested on the new build and says she cant wait to get started. "I'm real excited, I can't wait. I'm sure all of my customers will be excited and the community. Hopefully have a great time to get everything done and getting ready to go," said Marcum.
The ground breaking for the golf course will be on February 25th. The first phase of construction is expected to be completed by June 30th.
