YAKIMA, Wash. - The 21st Annual Central Washington Sportsmen Show kicked off Friday at the SunDome.
Each year, experts in fishing, hunting, and other recreational activities take over the more than 100,000 square feet of exhibit space to show the latest trends in outdoor sports.
Jim Teeny is a fishing expert and says the show offers the public the chance to get the newest tips and products to make them more successful while enjoying nature.
"I would encourage everyone to come to the show and take advantage of it because it won't be here next weekend," he said. "Even though the weather is getting a little nicer, now's the time to gain as much knowledge for the coming season."
There will be demonstrations and seminars to check out on each day of the show. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children, tickets are valid all weekend long.
The Sportsmen Show ends the first day at 8:00 p.m., Saturday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
