YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Yakima city planners have recommended against building a proposed Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency office in an industrial park.
Adjacent businesses and nearby homeowners object to the extra traffic as well as a temporary jail.
A public hearing on the project is set for Thursday at City Hall in Yakima.
Plans for a new Immigration and Customs Enforcement office at Union Gap fell through.
