YAKIMA, Wash. -- The man taken into custody for Sunday night's shooting near Sixth Street and East H Street made his first court appearance Monday.
Hector Ramos faces first degree assault, unlawful possession and stolen firearm charges. He's accused of shooting a 21-year-old Yakima man in the abdomen and leg Sunday evening. Police say both the suspect and the victim are gang members. Bail has been set at $250,000, he'll be arraigned March 8th.
