Richland, WA-- Tuesday night kick starts regional play for the 4-A teams in the area. Richland earning the number one seed with its district title win on Friday over Kamiakin. A well deserved win at that. The Bombers play in a league with three teams ranking in the top ten in state. Clearly the Big 9 competition has Richland ready for any regional challenges that lay ahead.
Head coach Earl Streufert said, "We always felt it's one of the toughest day in and day out leagues in the state... and all the travel and things that we do really... really prepares us. These guys have worked for it... And they certainly deserve it. Yea I think that's a good deal. We'll go with it."
The Bombers take on Cascade Division rival Eisenhower at home Tuesday night.
