The Yakima based cheese company, Queseria Bendita is recalling three products after reports of people getting sick.
State health officials say some of their cheese may be contaminated with listeria, which can cause illness and possibly death. A pregnant woman was confirmed with listeriosis in January, but has since recovered. The baby was delivered without complications.
The three different cheeses are being recalled. They are: Queso Fresco, Panela, and Requeson. The products are sold in stores and also supplied to many restaurants. Health officials warn anyone who has these products: DO NOT eat them.
