Missing Selah teens return home

Posted: Updated:

EAST SELAH--Two teenage brothers who went missing Thursday morning returned home this afternoon.

Abel and Efrain Garcia, ages 16 and 13, respectively, went missing while on a morning jog near their home on Elton Road at about 10:00 a.m. Thursday.  They returned home at about 1:00 p.m. Saturday, accompanied by friends and family, all while KNDO was on the scene.

The brothers appeared to be alright amidst what was an emotional reunion; the family declined to answer questions immediately after they returned home.

KNDO spoke with Ruben Suarez, the boys' uncle.  He said he was out looking for the boys when he got a call that they were on their way home.

Suarez said the boys don't disappear often, but the family hasn't yet asked where they went.

Right now, they're just happy to have them back.
