RICHLAND, Wash.-- The Go Greek club wants there to be community service and business Greek organizations at WSU Tri-Cities.
They want to join the Greek system already set up at schools like Washington State in Pullman. But the club says while they are getting tons of students interested, they still have to dismiss the stereotypes frats normally have.
"A lot of people are still confused about everything since the Greek system is just associated with fraternities, sororities and parties and stuff like that," says sophomore, Rachel Tate. "So we're trying to get them aware of everything and how it works and how we want it to work."
Now down the line, the club does want there to be houses for the Greek organizations, but they don't expect them for another decade. They are inviting anyone interested in joining to do so through the My-WSU portal online.
