KENNEWICK, Wash. --The Tri-City Americans are in the driver's seat when it comes to their playoff destiny.
With their 4-1 win over Seattle Wednesday night, the Ams just need to win their final two games against Spokane to wrap up their 3rd straight US Division title.
Not an easy task, but the Ams think they can get it done.
"We have got to go out and prove that there is a reason we have been the best in the West all year long," said Forward Jordan Messier. "No one is going to do it for us. We have got to be the guys to go out and do it. We have got to show everybody that we mean business and that we're here to play."
"You want to be desperate and you want to be aggressive," said Head Coach Jim Hiller. "You can't play the game passively. We've tried at different times and we've seen some of the results so it's pretty clear the path to success. We just got to make sure we're on it."
