Pasco, WA- Another psychiatrist will examine a Pasco man accused of murder.
Lawyers representing Ramon Garcia Morales and his brother Jose Garcia Morales question the brothers' mental competency.
Prosecutors say they think the brothers may be faking, but today prosecutors didn't argue the defense request to send Morales to Eastern State Hospital in Spokane so psychiatrists can watch him around the clock over a two-week period.
Because of the backlog of patients, however, psychiatrists won't be able to observe Morales until next month.
The psychiatrists' report is due on the judge's desk by May fourth.
Morales' case is on hold until the judge rules whether morale is competent to stand trial.
Morales and his brother are accused of shooting and killing a man and wounding his wife in their Pasco home in December 2008.
