YAKIMA--The Central Washington Home and Garden Show came to an end Sunday.
More than 125 vendors shopped their wares to potential customers over the past three days.
The nice weather in Yakima slowed traffic the first two days, but vendors tell us cloudy skies brought plenty of people to the Sundome on the final day of the show.
Companies don't usually make sales during the show, but this weekend can pay off.
"Three years down the road, someone might come to you," Bob Gilmore of G & H Roofing said. "You've got to get your name out there, got to talk to the customers. It has been very successful for us [in the past.]"
Gilmore signed up about 20 people for roof estimates this weekend.
Now, it's up to him to turn those potential clients into actual projects.
