SPOKANE, Wash. -- It's that time of year again, commonly known as "The Mark Few Sweepstakes."
Such is life at Gonzaga, where you have one of the top coaches in the country, schools are naturally going to come knocking.
The rumors are already swirling that Oregon is one of those teams trying to fill its vacant head coaching position, with Few.
Gonzaga Athletic Director Mike Roth said Tuesday that Oregon has not asked for permission to talk to Few, though that doesn't necessarily mean the Ducks aren't working back channels to talk to him.
The coach doesn't seem too interested in leaving Spokane.
"I love what I'm doing," said Coach Few. "I love where I live. My family loves it and I think we're treated with respect. As long as we feel like that, I think there's a lot more we can do at Gonzaga. And now is not the time to decide what you are going to do professionally or playing-wise. [You have to] let the dust settle for awhile."
