KENNEWICK, Wash;--  A celebration today at Kia Ora Fitness in Kennewick marks the end of the newest Tri-Cities biggest loser competition.

Over the last couple of months competitors lost a combined total of 800 pounds. Today the top ten people who lost the most body fat percentage and pounds were awarded prizes at the gym where they have worked so diligently. Winners we talked with say they never expected to be up on stage today.

"I just thought for sure I wouldn't make it up there," women's third place winner, and 23 pounds lighter, Sandra Samoray said. "When I got up there I just thought oh my gosh I did it!"

"I feel so much better now. I really did it for my wife and kid, so I'm really excited that I managed to lose all that weight," men's first place winner Ramiro Reyna who lost 50 pounds said.
