KENNEWICK; Wash-- Kennewick police continue to investigate a gang related shooting that happened Sunday.
Officers say last night two rival gangs got into a fight that left one man seriously injured. He was shot in the chest.
Neighbors say at times they're scared to live near 4th Avenue and Vancouver street which is close to where the shooting took place.
Police say the area has seen more gang activity recently.
Last night it was 19-year-old Adrian Pimentel who was shot in the chest after a fight broke out between gangs near an alley off of fourth avenue.
Pimentel was listed in serious condition early this morning but is now stabilized.
Police say they have persons of interest but can't release any names yet.
Neighbors say they have seen more problems involving gangs recently.
"Oh I'm nervous." says Roger Perskins.
"I'm getting afraid to live here. I've been here ever since 1996', and in the last five years this started, a bunch of things happening around here."
Roger and other neighbors also say they have had problems with car break ins and drug activity in that area.
Officers say this type of incident isn't too surprising when things get heated between rival gangs.
Police are continuing to follow the investigation and will release more information soon.
