KNDU Sports Anchor Challenge

Posted: Updated:

Kennewick, WA--

On April 1st, 2010, the KNDU sports team ushered in its second head to head competition.  Patrick Noland took the very first sports team challenge.  Taking down fellow sports anchor Joe Gorchow in the pool.

Match number two took place on a horse track at Sun Downs.  Patrick and Joe each had fellow KNDU reporters and anchors weigh in on who would win the race down the track.  The newsroom had trouble agreeing on its pick.  Either way Joe and Patrick settled it on the track.

The length of the race was anywhere from 350 yards to 400 yards.  In the end both sports anchors were exhausted, with Joe crossing the finish line just before Patrick.

The KNDU sports anchor challenge series is even at 1-1.  Become apart of our sports challenges by emailing us at news@kndu.com.  All you have to do is give us your name, a way to contact you, and your sports challenge to our KNDU sports team.  We'll be waiting.
