KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Fever are saying bye, bye, bye to their bye weeks.
Having only played 3 games, Tri-Cities has already had 2 of them.
The Fever will now play 11 straight weeks of football and try to stamp out their 1st win of the season Saturday when they host Fairbanks at the Toyota Center.
The Fever started their season with a 2-point loss in 4 overtimes to the Grizzlies but they are ready to put that game and all those bye weeks behind them.
"It's been tough," said Fever Head Coach Adam Shackleford. "You can't get much of a rhythm and in our situation when you don't win a football game and then you have the whole off week to think about that, it's tough. But, now we're going to get in a nice rhythm, play some games in a row and hopefully stay healthy."
