A new dealership opens up at a new location today and it's expected to bring a lot of money in for Richland.
The City of Richland can expect to see $25,000 or $30,000 dollars added to the pool every month. After today's ribbon cutting for the grand opening of McCurley Integrity, Honda's new location on Fowler Street in Richland, we talked with the owner of the dealership.
He says they expect the 30-thousand square foot location to bring in #30,000 for the city. We also talked with city leaders and the Tri-City Regional Chamber. Representatives say that money will come from sales tax or a used car tax for each car sold.
The dealership has moved from a smaller location in Kennewick, and with their new location in Richland, workers say they can offer a bigger showroom and faster services for customers.
