Census workers make final push for mail in forms

Posted: Updated:

Census workers in the Tri-Cities set up shop outside of Albertsons on Clearwater today hoping to bring in people to fill out their census form.

Workers are making a final push this weekend for people to file their census forms before the April 19th due date.

The idea is to bring in people who want to fill it out on the spot so workers can mail it off, because census leaders tell us it's much less expensive to mail the forms. They also say the forms tend to be more accurate when filled out by the homeowner rather than having a census worker knock on doors to fill them out.
