YAKIMA--Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Yakima.  They say the victim is lucky to be alive.

Officers say a 17-year-old Wapato boy was in a gold Honda on 30th Avenue when someone shot at him from another vehicle, described by witnesses as a blue or dark green Ford Explorer.

The bullet grazed the back of the victim's head, then struck him in the arm.  Police caught up with the victim at Regional Hospital.

Police say the shooting is gang-related.  Witnesses described the shooter as a bald Hispanic male; they say a female was driving the suspect car.
