WALLA WALLA, Wash. – A fire destroyed a fiberglass plant Monday morning at the Walla Walla Regional Airport Business Park.
No injuries have been reported.
The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. at Reiff Manufacturing, in the 600-block of B Street.
Firefighters with the City of Walla Walla responded and quickly extinguished the fire which heavily damaged the steel building.
According to their website, Reiff Manufacturing produces custom built fiberglass products such as shelters and antenna covers, among other things.
Despite the proximity of the airport's control tower to the fire, air traffic was not interrupted.
