KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Higher education is already feeling the pinch. Today Pullman confirmed a thirteen and half million dollar cut to the Washington State University's operating budget next year. That on top of more than fifty million cut last year.
The university doesn't expect any major cuts and says student aid will be preserved.
As for WSU Tri-Cities, leaders tell us they won't have to reject students based on budget constraints, nor will they have to eliminate any positions currently filled.
