Franklin County Corrections officers change plea in marijuana dealing case
RICHLAND, Wash.-- Kevin Still and Sonya Symons have decided to plead guilty to different drug counts.
Last October, the couple worked in the Franklin County Jail, when Still tried to buy five pounds of marijuana in Spokane to start a pot dealing operation.
Today they changed their plea; Symons pleading guilty to felony intent to distribute and Still for felony possession with intent to distribute. In the plea deal however, it's recommended both only get two years probation for their crime. But the maximum penalty the judge could hand down is five years in prison and a quarter million dollar fine.
As part of the plea, they also are allowed to talk to one another once again.
