Yakima, WASH--Some Yakima students stood up against bullying today . They took part in the national "Day of Silence".
It's a student-led event that protests harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender kids. Yakima school district leaders say students at Eisenhower high school along with other schools around the country took some form of a vow of silence for the day. The point was to encourage schools and classmates to stop anti-LGBT behavior.
