Pasco, WA- You would have been hard-pressed to find an open parking spot today at the Franklin County Courthouse. Prosecutors and defense attorneys started the process of picking jurors for an upcoming murder trial. Vicente Ruiz is accused of gunning down five people in a Pasco auto body shop 23 years ago. Court administrators have brought in more than 140-prospective jurors. Prosecutors and defense attorneys will interview everyone this week and select 12 to sit on the jury. Testimony gets underway next week.
