Two men arrested in connection with home burglary last week
KENNEWICK, Wash;-- Kennewick Police executed a search warrant Monday night at 3506 South Ledbetter Street, and they found more than just stolen property.
The house that was searched was believed to have suspects involved in a burglary living inside. The burglary happened on Thursday at a house right up the street, 3600 South Ledbetter.
Police were then able to have a K9 team track back to 3506 South Ledbetter.
After several attempts to get ahold of the people living there a man matching the description of one of the burglars came out of the house.
His name is Craig La-Rue and he was arrested on the scene for an un-related warrant.
Another man who lives here, Benjamin Senske, was arrested for obstructing Police and other drug charges. Senske posted bail yesterday morning but detectives from Kennewick Police Department executed a warrant to search for the stolen property.
During the search, detectives found methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. They also found spores that are used to grow illicit mushrooms.
Senske was arrested once more and has been booked into the Benton County Jail for possession of methamphetamine. The Benton County Prosecutor will now review the case for more possible charges of manufacturing a controlled substance.
