Hundreds of people came to the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick this weekend to find resources for autistic friends and family members.
Leaders in the field of autism presented help in areas such as diagnostic services, specialized therapies and educational materials. We talked with families dealing with autism who say they're thankful for the extra support.
"Often times families don't know what resources are out there, so it's good to see so many parents out here with their kids learning," Robert Jones said, who has a son with autism.
The Responding to Autism Center is now open on 24th Avenue in Kennewick.
