Kennewick, WA- A woman accused of murder will spend a third summer in Benton County Jail before going to trial.
Kennewick Police arrested Phien Sisouvanh in June 2008 for stabbing a pregnant woman in Columbia Park and cutting the unborn baby from her womb.
The judge put Sisouvanh's trial on hold last fall so psychiatrists at Eastern State Hospital could examine her mental health. Doctors concluded last month Sisouvanh is mentally competent to stand trial.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys are scheduled to start picking a jury in mid September.
