Drivers asked to use extreme caution in Lower Valley
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- ***UPDATE*** Yakima Sheriff's deputies are asking drivers to use extreme caution and avoid any unnecessary travel. Around 9a.m. Monday morning, Harrah Rd., between McDonald and Fort Rd., was closed due to a dust storm, causing low visibility in the area. Deputies have responded to several traffic calls caused by the extreme winds in the Lower Valley. There have also been reports of downed power lines and limbs from trees.
