BENTON CITY, Wash - Strong and damaging winds continue to whip through the area. Places just West of the Tri-Cities have seen the worst of the storm so far. In Benton City a 20-foot-tall tree has been nearly uprooted a swimming pool has also crumbled in the gusts.
"We heard some crashes at about 4:30 this morning and it took my four thousand dollar fence. Those things are concreted in three and a half feet and it just took them right up," says Mary Bramer of Benton City.
There has also been reports of blowing dust through the region, which has reduced visibilities in some areas.
