Pasco, WA- Prosecutors and defense attorneys are interviewing the remaining prospective jurors for an upcoming murder trial in Franklin County.
Vicente Ruiz is accused of murdering five men in a Pasco auto body shop 23 years ago.
Attorneys today started a third week of sifting through a jury pool of more than 160 people.
The defense team argues it won't be able to find 12 impartial jurors from the pool.
Today the judge excused one potential juror for reading newspaper articles about the case since being called for jury duty. The judge excused another woman because she's planning her daughter's wedding next month.
