ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Former Ike basketball coach Pat Fitterer has had a crazy few days.
A week ago, he stepped down as the head coach at Ike after 7 seasons, ciiting a family health issue.
Tuesday, he announced that he will coach his alma mateur, the Ellensburg Bulldogs next year.
Fitterer says his family encouraged him to get back into coaching and take the opportunity with the Bulldogs.
Fitterer is the winningest active coach in Washington State with 664 wins in 33 years of coaching.
