A man accused of threatening to kill Sen. Patty Murray pleaded not guilty in federal court in Seattle. Trial for Charles Alan Wilson was set for July 6. The 64-year-old from Selah was arrested in April and charged with threatening a federal official. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Seattle said Wilson left voicemail messages laden with expletives and threats to kill Washington's senior Democratic senator over her support for health care legislation. Wilson is free on bond. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.


UNION GAP, Wash. -- ULTA is a beauty and cosmetics store. It is also the newest store to go up in the Balley Mall. There will be a grand opening tomorrow (Friday) at 9 AM. The first 100 customers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will have the opportunity to be put in a drawing for gift cards. Mall management says by this fall they will have 98% of the mall area leased. Bed Bath and Beyond will be opening next door to the new ULTA later this summer.


YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police are still looking for two women accused of robbing a senior citizen in the parking lot of the Safeway on Nob Hill. They say yesterday, a woman grabbed a 70-year old woman's purse as she was loading groceries into her car. The snatcher then jumped into a get away with another woman in it. They dragged the victim a few feet when she tried to get her purse back. The main suspect is a white female in her teens to 20's with dark hair. She was wearing dark clothing and a black hat.
